Globalisation, intense competition, and the rapid development of new technologies have been forcing organisations to make performance a priority, and focus more intensely on ensuring that their projects, programmes and services achieve all intended results. Consequently, organisations worldwide have been taking steps to better manage and measure the outcomes of their projects and programmes using the principles and practice of Results-based Management (RBM). With consideration to this reality, the SCHSBM’s Results-based Management for the Public Sector programme offers delegates the opportunity to develop high level managerial skills that are vital to achieving and sustaining optimal organisational performance.
